Create forms with accessible videos

You can create forms with an accessible respondent experience, and part of that process is to make your videos accessible to people with disabilities. Read more about accessibility at Typeform here.

You can embed accessible videos into your forms from YouTube and Vimeo with closed captions enabled. Read more about closed captioning (CC) here.

To make your embedded videos accessible, just make sure that closed captions are turned on in the YouTube or Vimeo video you’re embedding.

Pexels videos are mostly used as background illustrations, and they don’t provide closed captions. To meet accessibility requirements, we recommend using YouTube or Vimeo for videos that have voice or sound.

You can also provide a text alternative to your video in a separate link. For example, you can add a link to the transcript or explanation of a video in the title or description of a question.
